Josh Cook is a fiction writer, editor, teacher, occasional critic/essayist, closet poet, and recovering perfectionist. He earned his MFA in fiction from Pacific University, and his writing has appeared in many outlets across the country, including Virginia Quarterly Review, the Washington Post, the Iowa Review, the Millions, the Rumpus, Sugar House Review, and Rain Taxi Review of Books, and the Minneapolis-Star Tribune, among others. He has edited a wide range of book-length fiction and creative nonfiction, from travel memoir to coming-of-age novel to reportage. Once upon a time, he was the editor at large of Thirty-Two Magazine. He teaches creative writing at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, where he lives with his wife and daughter.
